City Council Candidate for Ward One in Blaine, Minnesota
Government for and by the People
We should be utilizing the relationship of the city to the state, not just waiting for problems to be fixed. We can use our relationships to improve housing, a more progressive tax code to shift the burden of property tax, and improve transit to reduce traffic
No More Corporate Welfare
You deserve to work and at the end of the day still have some money left in your pocket but corporations can make money at your expense; they need to pay their fair share. We should leverage our influence to be more discerning about keeping private equity and corporate interests out of the city, not award them tax breaks that drive out small businesses.
I want to partner with you so we can make a Blaine where we don’t just live but thrive, together! We should prioritize the well being of our communities and standards of living over corporate profits. I want a path to power to create wins for Blaine.
